Are you expected to sell out at launch or do you think it’ll be ok if I wait until later in the day? Also how many different kits are you launching tomorrow?
The early birds (limited to several hundreds) may sell out quite quickly. If you come later, you can still purchase them at a slightly higher “Kickstarter special.” price, but still cheaper than the future Maker’s Supply retail price. Those are (effectively) unlimited. I can’t disclose how many kits are being sold right now

Hi this is my first time using kick starter, I was able to pledge for the Kit C and I got the “Thanks for pledging to this project” email so does my card only get charged on april 14th? So BL won’t start shipping until after that date is that right?
Provided you gave payment details, Kickstarter projects are charged to that card at the end of the campaign.
This allows for campaigns that have not met their goal, so only successful ply pledge campaigns get charged.
This campaign hit their goal within minutes.
You will be charged in the middle of April.
You should have received an email detailing this.

Wow a lot of the kits are already sold out, the ones that aren’t the the pre-printed assembly kits and the Ultimate Hardware Kit - KS Special!
Very disappointing to see that they aren’t releasing the cad files till the campaign is over.
I have some ideas that I would like to begin working on but it is very difficult to start without knowing the size of the motors or the boards.
Still ordered 2 kits. So I guess I can’t start modeling till April 15.
I think it’s kinda dumb they’re trying to hype-build on kickstarter for this stuff. Understandable, but annoying and just attention-grabbing. They ought to just sell this on their e-shop.
As far as I can see only the early birds have sold out, are you seeing something different?

Previously, we decided not to release the files early, not due to confidentiality or any intention to tease our customers, but because we are still refining all the technical documents and files to ensure a smooth user experience. However, we’ve heard from many creators like you who are eager to access the files sooner, so we are reevaluating our timeline and exploring ways to speed up the process.
For surveying purposes, would it be acceptable to you if we release the CAD files first? This would allow you to start working on structural designs while the apps undergo further development and require a longer wait. Your feedback on this approach would be greatly appreciated!
just backed for the timelapse kit, looking forward to receiving it 
i don’t usually do the timelapses, as i don’t really like the angle and quality of the ones i get from the printer, so hopefully this will allow me to start doing some cool ones

I see the same thing as you, I am surprised to see that they will be able to fullfill over 5000 kits.
Something to help people would be great, even if they are subject to change.
Tweaking later is better than having to guess.
