hello, so i got the kit. connected it to my phone, tested the button and it triggers my phone’s cam but when i start printing with timelapse enabled with smooth mode enabled, it doesn’t trigger my phone cam. any ideas why? did i miss something? i am using an a1 mini and pluggeed it to the port beside the ams lite port where my ams lite was connected.
When you send your file to print, is the timelapse option ON?
hello. i’ve found the problem.
i came across a comment on a model in makerworld, it mentioned about the cables having 2 versions, one with the straight connection and the other where the communication wires were crossed, i snipped my cable, mapped out the wires with a multimeter, crossed those connections and now it works.
So you needed a straight through connection on every wire rather than it being crossed?
I just metered continuity on all 4 wires and they are all straight through.
