Is there an easy way to put cylinders in a perfect circle?
The best way would be to use an actual CAD program.
If you are trying to work only in Studio, you might try using a primitive cylinder or torus as a guide. Align the edge of each cylinder on the edge of the guide, then delete the primitive guide. Then Merge the cylinders into an assembly if you need to move them while keeping their relative positions.
Yes, that’s what I’m doing now. Was hoping for an easy way to put them equal distance apart. I have an old version of AutoCAD, I guess I need to look for it. Thanks for your help!
Oh, and I downloaded MeshMagic but I don’t see a way to enter a cylinder, I find everything but cylinder. I know there has to be a way. It’s going to be one of those days.
Try Onshape, you can probably figure it out in less time than it takes to find your old Autocad.
I just made a quick way for you.
It offers far more than you asked for.
AutoCAD is not your best bet to start with.
Thanks, I’ll try that. No telling where my AutoCAD is.
WOW, just what I was looking for. I’m not looking to sell anything, just to make a filter for the part fan on my A1 mini that I can put foam inside for the filter. Thanks a lot for your help.
