Daily Tips in Studio 2.7.1.57

Anyone know how to turn these annoying things off again in Studio version 2.7.1.57? So far everything I have found has not worked, the .conf file rewrite everytime.

It was doing it in the Beta too, I thought I reported it but now that I checked I didnt.

This is extremely annoying. Does anyone know if this was reported as a bug? This is similar to that silly filament warning before the patched the previous release.

I ended up going back to the previous versionā€¦.

You just click on ā€œcollapseā€ and bambu studio will remember the next time itā€™s run

Thatā€™s a NO, for me. Pops up every time, even after collapsing.

I know, my tips were collapsed so I opened the windows and tried collapse againā€¦ I canā€™t close it any more :rage:

It did not work with the beta but worked when I upgraded, I might try that steps again.

btw, I tried many things in config, hints.ini, hints.cereal etc, nothing worked

Same here. Super annoying. I tried manually editing the config but it seems to ignore the setting.

Iā€™ll add my frustration to the heap. config edit did nothing. very annoying closing the same pop ups 100x per day. does bambu even use their own software before afflicting their user base with this slop?

I was able to edit the config in Notepad. Change value for ā€˜daily tipsā€™ from ā€˜trueā€™ to ā€˜falseā€™. Saved and close Notepad. Restart Bambu Studio (obviously the program should have been closed before editing the config). Daily tips are collapsed now, but still appear bottom rightā€¦

Verified this multiple times, closing and reopening Bambu and powering PC on and off.

Not sure why others didnā€™t have success.

  • Close Bambu Studio completely.
  • Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog.
  • Type [%APPDATA%\BambuStudio] and hit Enter.
  • Open the file named [BambuStudio.conf] in Notepad or any text editor.
  • Search for ā€œshow_daily_tipsā€: ā€˜trueā€™.
  • Change true to ā€˜falseā€™.
  • Save and close the file.
  • Restart Bambu Studio

I edited the config file numerous times and it didnā€™t work.

This Daily Tips popup, again??? This is obscene. This started with the previous release and itā€™s NOT fixed in the latest one. Nothing Iā€™ve tried will hide it for good. What a joke. Back to the older version, again.
