Defective Surface Layers at Same Location

When printing this one fairly tall part, I get surface defects at the same location regardless of the PLA used and always on the right side.

Most everything is defaulted to the original Bambu settings as follows.

X1C: Factory default (0.4 mm nozzle, etc)
Plate: Smooth PEI
Filament(s): Bambu Matte PLA black, Bambu Basic PLA white
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Line Width: 0.42 mm
Temperature: Default (220 C)
Volumetric Speed: Default (22 cfm)
Walls: 1
Top/Bottom: 1, 0.6mm min thickness

The model is designed with a 0.8 mm wall thickness with the intention of an inner and outer wall butted up to each other.

I was thinking of splitting the STL to print only the affected area to see if that helps but I wanted to solicit suggestions before I venture too far down the rabbit hole, being a newbie and all.

I tried cleaning the carbon fiber X-axis rods per other postings to no avail. Same part, same artifacts.

Could it be in the G-Code? If so, how can this be determined?

Should I try Orca slicer?
