Desiccant from Bambu

I searched but my particular question hasn’t been asked, or just not considered. The Dessicant that ships with the AMS2, or AMS, or what you buy as stock, is it rechargeable and how would one know its needing to be dried/replaced? The stuff I got from Amazon turns pink when wet, blue when dried, 30 minutes at defrost. Its basically the same stuff I use on my paint guns to keep moisture out of the spray.

This question directly concerns what came with the AMS. If it can be dried, great, otherwise I will just toss them, but you know, this ■■■■ winds up in landfills too.

Not sure about the AMS2. The AMS1 dessiccant bags are single use.
But there are dessiccant containers on MakerWorld for the AMS which can be filled with rechargeable dessiccant pearls or satchels. Just use google with “makerworld ams dessiccant container”.

I already have those in place filled with rechargeable desiccant, was wondering if the stuff I pulled out could be reused and how to tell when they are dead.

The original bags unfortunately can not be reused. They do tend to become liquid(ish) themselves.
