Is there any benefit to having some Desiccant inside the printer enclosure?
No. It’s not gasketed so its humidity “time constant” is going to be very short. Even if you don’t open and close the door at all. There’d be no point. And you’re not keeping filament in there when you’re not printing. But if you do not have a AMS, you should pull back the filament to your dry box so you don’t have a couple of feet in the PTFE tube soaking up moisture between prints.
