Developer mode not on menu in LAN only mode firmware 1.06

P1P upgraded to P1S
Firmware updated without my permission to 1.08

My Panda Touch stopoed working after BL automatically upgraded my firmware without asking.

I downgraded to the liwest available which is 1.06 but it still has access control. 1.05 is not available.

So I thought I would try in Developer mode - but Developer Mode is not in the menus (instructions show it in the WiFi menu below MAC Address).

Has Developer Mode been removed already?

Authorization control and Developer mode were both introduced to P1P/P1S firmware with version 1.08.02.00. Neither are available with earlier versions.

Thats strange because it was the upgrade to 1.07 thst stopped my Panda from connecting (apparently).
It asks for an access code but doesnt accept anything. Strange…

Thanks fir the reply.

How did BL update the firmware of your machine without your permision?
I thought a firmware update must be actively done by the user.

So did I and it always has in the past.
This machine has been out of connission for 3-3 months simply because the AMS developed a fault and I used my X1 solely, for a few months.
Then yesterday I needed to print something while the X1 was busy, and it was only one filament, so I thought I’d fire up the P1. Imagine my puzzlement when I couldnt get PandaTouch to connect.
All sorts of troubleshooting later I found several prople saying firmware with Access Control wouldnt work with Panda and that the latest version that did NOT have access control was 1.05 (not as someone said here, 1.08).
I thought to mysrlf, it cant be access control, I always reject firmware updates for exactly thst reason.
And when I looked - there it was! First time powered up in many weeks …

So I contacted Support who ssid the latest available downgrade is 1.06 and it has access control (again, not what the responder above says). Support said I would need to use Developer mode. But its not there.
