It seems like Bambu did fix the issue… after months of gaslighting us that E3D nozzles are of the wrong color, they … started to work.
Or at least, I’ve started 4 prints sequentially and didn’t have any issues with the nozzle detection.
I would encourage for anyone with E3D nozzles (ObX + Diamondback) to try and see if it got better for them.
When Studio added the dropdown for hotend type and I saw E3D was an option it seemed likely that Bambu and E3D had completed their couples therapy successfully. I’ve been running my ObXidian 500 now for about two months with zero issues. I thought it was common knowledge, my bad.
