I can’t find any new release notes. Boosts now worth 12 points instead of 11. What are MakerReward points?

OK, that totally explains this. I’ve redeemed 8 boosts so far and it looks like they gave me that extra point for each one. Was wondering why I received points for no apparent reason.

Got the same points out of nowhere. I don’t know exactly what is going on.
Points received does appear to align to the # boosts redeemed
Ok, so MakerReward dropped because boost token redemption value increased. But what is “other” then?

The amount of 'other’s I received is exactly the amount of boosts I have given out.
Not sure why one is 5, the rest are 2.

Same here. I received 5 points for the first boost I gave out and 2 points for the second.
They’ve added a new rule to the point system.

Those are the updated rules of the boost system
Also, uploaded models now seem require two cover photos, one for the website and one for the app. It allows you to scale the image and select a part of the image (crop) as cover image, probably scaled down to reduce app data transfer.
This also applies when you edit an older model. There should be an option to easily use the web cover photo for the app, too, so I don’t have to find and upload the old photo again…
And the parametric model maker is just a single button press away now (for models with a scad file).

That’s annoying! How to give even more work to the user. @BambuLab You could just change the image ratio on the Handy App and on BambuStudio from 1:1 to 4:3.
IMHO the 4:3 is a better aspect ratio especially when you have a title underneath the picture.
No it won’t since now you have to upload 2 pictures instead of one now. I think it’s just for the picture to look better on the Handy App and Bambustudio.
I meant the data transfer from cloud to app (mobile data) for the users.
