Hi all, forgive me as I’m new to the forums, but I did search and couldn’t find similar:
The other night I found my X1C turned on. Lights and fans all on. That was highly unusual. When I looked inside, there was a new print created. I did not make this print. And it is not something that I would ever print.
My kids are grown and live out of state. I checked with them, and my wife. None of them even know how to connect to the printer remotely, nor do they have the login. Nor would they want the figurine that was printed.
My wife and I live alone. The print does not show up in my Bambu Handy print history. This is what was printed. What happened here?
I think It happened once a long time ago, a bug in bambu cloud sent prints to wrong printers. Ask support if a bug was reported on one of their servers.
That’s one of the STLs that’s on the printers internal memory. If the printer was physically turned off… and you and your wife live alone… that narrows it down to two people.
Thank you. This is what I would have suspected too. It is possible, but unlikely that I left the printer on. But it “is” possible. Still, wouldn’t someone need to scroll through some screens to print this out?
Thanks. I thought I was certain, but now I am not certain. Typically once I print, I turn it off because there doesn’t seem to be a standby mode. From past experience, there is only “all lights blazing” mode, which usually prompts me to turn off the rocker switch on the back. Side quest would be to find out that there is some kind of standby where I could leave it on and still connect while I’m at work etc.
