Difference between X1C and H2D

Hey guys I’m just wondering what the big difference of H2D compared to X1C.

I’m stuck between choosing between those 2.

I know H2D has a lot of great features but X1C still up there. So I’m just wondering what the main differences in quality and speed for both one color prints and multicolor prints.

It all comes down to a bigger printplate and dual nozzle Extruder. And a heated chamber. The H2D should have less VFA.

About quality and speed not much difference.
H2D has a bigger printing plate.
If you do a bunch of dual color printing, H2D will be faster.

The X1C is an existing design that’s been in production for a while, and which includes fixes for issues that weren’t identified yet when the printer was initially released. The H2D is a brand new design that will almost certainly go through similar revisions to address issues that escaped its development process.

If you’re thinking of buying now, buy the H2D if you know it has features you will need. Otherwise, the X1C will give you less to worry about.

…and with less filament waste…at least in theory.
The downside is that it appears to be a much more complex piece of machinery that is, most likely, not very easy to repair or tinker with.
