Different problems caused by SD-Card?

Hi, in the last days I run into different problems and the sd-card seems to be the root cause.

  1. Print stopps at 80% (after 3h), no error, not possible to continue
  2. Upload to the cloud works, download to to printer not. No error message, again.
  3. Sometimes I got an error “The printer could not understand the print-file. Please update firmware”.
  4. Error message “no SD-Card found”

As workaround I did the fallowing:

  1. Check the sd-card (windows or mac standard tools). My got different errors in the filesystem and corrupted files
  2. Backup the print files
  3. Inser the sdcard back into the printer und use the format sd-card option
  4. disable video recording on sd-card

I hope this helps you, too. At the moment I have no print problems. If they occure again, i will try another sd-card.

I had a problem where I upload a file to the P1S and as the file starts decompressing the print goes missing from the print progress screen in Bambu Studio. I found that my SD card was corrupt and this was causing the issue.

Second issue I noticed is the frame rating on the video was almost 1 frame per 30 seconds, with the new SD card in place the frame rate is around 1 frame per second.

I suggest if you keep files on your SD card make sure to back the card up to another drive on a regular basis.

I experienced yesterday a problem with the stock sd card the print stopped at 60 percent and the A1 said on the screen please reinstall the sd card and then on the bambu handy said print finished so i couldn’t continue the print after an investigation i found out that some of the video recordings on the ipcam are corrupted now I’ve installed a high endurance u3 v30 for cctv systems am going to keep you updated the video is still low frame but bamboo lab says a disclaimer that the video is low frame anyway
