Is there a way to turn off this message “The 3mf is not from Bambu Lab, load geometry data and color data only”? Or at least have it go away after you load the file. It is a bit annoying.
You mean this message? It’s actually very, very important, because it means exactly what it says: your 3MF file isn’t fully compatible with Bambu Studio. Only the geometry is imported, while all other settings and configuration data are ignored.
You can avoid this warning by importing the file without any configuration, essentially a standard STL file. In that case, the message won’t appear.
In fact, that’s usually the recommended approach unless you’re specifically trying to transfer settings from another CAD or slicer application, such as Fusion 360, into Bambu Studio and want those settings to be preserved - which usually doesn’t work anyway.
If that was too long:
- Don’t use 3mf - use STL instead. The program you’re using to export the 3mf is the problem, not Bambu Studio. They don’t speak the same language.
