Counterpoint are the models with no profile and posting a profile gets Bambu more sales. Bambu probably won’t do anything to tip that cart. But it’s easy to allow profiles when there is no profile from the designer.
I agree on the designer having the ability to block and remove 3rd party profiles though. It should be selectable collection-wide or model by model. That would be friendlier that removing profiles.
