Disadvantages of kickstarter compared to "normal" version (both used)

Hello,
I plan to replace my Flsun V400 by a Carbon CC. For saving money I would like to buy a used Carbon CC. The difference between a new Carbon CC and a used one is >= 300€ plus some additional accessories (build plates, nozzles, extruder, etc.).

Many offers are for kickstarter editions of the Carbon CC. I imagine that these first devices have some issues that were resolved in later mass production devices. Therfore the question what issues do the kickstarter devices have, that were resolved in later devices? Have there been any “corrections” to the kickstarter devices by Bambu in form of free/sold replacementparts? Can some of those issues be solved with little efort by simply printing some parts with the X1?

I think it will also help other users interested in buying a used X1 if we gather all those differences in one place. I would have expected such info in the Wiki.

nobody who knows anything about the differences and issues?

Seems the Bambu Labs community is not that great as many say. So it’s better not to buy a Bambu device as with a request I may be as lost as with most other printers. Sad.

I think most people think, as do I, that for 300, it isn’t enough of a savings to get a kickstarter compared to a production model that has many of the bugs worked out of it. If money is that much of an issue, you would be better off getting a new P1P.

Just ask the customer service.
I don’t know of any major change except for the AMS

i have both a kickstarter edition and quite a few later editions…
The kickstarter has over 1200 hours with no issues as yet
