Disallow print profiles that only use AI generated preview

I see too many PrintMon and other AI models that are added with only the fantasy model image the tool provides instead of an actual print. Most of these models take at least an hour (sometimes many more) to print). My idea is the following and perhaps it’s already accounted for. After someone uses an AI generator tool such as PrintMon maker and they upload a print profile, determine if there is only one image preview. If there is, and it’s that fantasy preview image they built the model from, then don’t allow the profile to be posted. Add metadata to the image or check existing metadata for this.

This would cut down on all the low quality AI models people have to weed through to find something printable. Like I said, maybe this is already happening in some way, but it doesn’t seem like it.

100% agree. There are people trying to build whole accounts on that very thing, who most likely don’t even own a printer. The metadata thing is a good idea. It’s funny too they are claiming they designed them even though it says “PrintMon Maker” at the top lol…

Also in this instance, model is presented without real photo. CC0 models require real photo for posting.

The fact that the profile takes 34 hours to print could be checked against how fast it was uploaded since it was created as well. I think that would catch quite a few low-effort submissions.
