I’m glad Bambu has this forum. Too bad other brands don’t do the same thing.
Take Elegoo as an example (I have a Mars 5 Ultra). There’s a user managed forum which is not sponsored by them, so see’s little use. They have a Discord and Facebook page.
Both Discord and Facebook pages are terrible at organizing topics and subtopics. And the searches often return quite a few unrelated posts .
Because they aren’t organized, I’ve noticed that even when you post in a category, getting answers to questions can be difficult as your post can quickly get buried under a slew of posts.
Personally, I don’t understand all the oohing and aahing about discord. To me, it’s nothing more than a giant chat room.
Black Magic, the creators of DaVinci Resolve and lot’s of video hardware has a company supported forum and discord page. After some time with both, I go to the forum for technical questions and advice.
