The problem is that it’s already dead, hinting potential short circuit (actually, not potential, but a 100% short circuit somewhere already)

you know what, yes not worth the debate, not my responsibility to educate people what a continuous heat of 65C means for phones.

i’m saying most lithium ion batteries are rated to go up to 80c in terms of operational temperatures. i’m not saying iphones can handle prolonged heat at 80c. holy heck. i’m sorry like i really am but your responses are based on an incorrect assumption.
