Sorry, I’ve only found a single thread regarding that. It wasn’t clear to me if that solution (removing some gcode) had side effects. I didn’t know it ended up in the Wiki, which makes it an “approved” method I guess.
I still don’t see a reason to do this every single print. The belt won’t suddenly get loose, it’s a slow process. That’s why I thought Bambu Lab might optimise this and only do it when needed (after X prints, days, whatever).
Anyway, that workaround would work for me, so thanks for that Wiki link. I might try the cement block thing at some point and see if it makes a difference.
