I just graduated from 4 years of bedslingers to a X1C! I am new to BambuStudio and new to downloading X1C-profiled models directly from MakerWorld. Many of the models seem to already have specific settings configured for Studio. After I save a project and get ready to work on a new project, it asks if I want to save the modified settings. However, with the settings being project-specific, I shouldn’t save these global settings. Correct?
The choice is yours.
For example, do you wish all of YOUR models to default to 4 walls instead of 2?
Then save the setting using the option labelled Use Modified Value, this will keep those values for your next model.
Knowing that your current instance saves things for the rest of your usage is important.
If you have two windows open, the last save choice is considered great for the next time you open up. This means you should be careful when defining new settings or they might be lost to an instance no longer in memory.
