Glad to see I’m not alone
I don’t get a lot of points since my models are mostly just functional stuff that I created for myself. I did end up using my points for gift cards to get me a A1 Mini during this birthday sale, so I’ll call that a win. After seeing this post, I’m now realizing that I think I did things backwards and should have used some of my points for the essentials kit since that’s quite a bit cheaper than buying it from the store.
Should be fun once my hardware kits arrive. I have an idea of something I’ve wanted to make for a while now and these parts kits will take me a long way into realizing it. I just need to keep lurking around posts like @Josh-3D puts up to learn a thing or two.

Completely agree on the added quality. I notice it quite a bit with wheels. I’ve made a print-in-place axle/rim combo that printed perfectly and works really well, but will never preform as well as using bearings.
I used to have that everything-needs-to-be-3d-printed attitude, but I was only limiting myself as a designer.
A reason why I didn’t like using hardware was because of uncertainty surrounding availability. I wasn’t very comfortable sending people to some Amazon listing that may or may not still be there next month. I feel a lot more confident in the availability of hardware from Bambu.

They say a screwdriver is not a hammer, but I say with the right extrusion it can be both.
