Does this option already exist? If not I would find this very useful as I tend to need this alot, and would be easier not to have to use multiple negative parts, or do something in CAD.

Have a look at my example and show us what you referring to or show us your own , 5 negative parts used in studio and two parts one being an opposite ?
It exists, just not in the way you are envisioning. You’ll have to use a boolean operation to get the results you are looking for. It’s not too hard, you just have to take a few steps to complete it.
Add your model and then add a part that that you want to “cut” it out with. Here’s an example of a Benchy and a cube overlapping.
Select moth models and “Merge” them together.
This let’s you now choose the “Mesh Boolean” menu option. Go ahead and select that and choose the “Intersection” tab.
Now you’re going to want to “Select” each part. In my example I select the Benchy and the Cube. Make sure to check the “Delete input” option so that it only leaves the intersection of the two parts.
Once everything is selected, go ahead and push the “Intersection” button. This will leave the intersected part, which should be the results you were looking for.
