Downgrade function in App not showing any previous versions!?!

I work for a small tech company and we have 6 Bambu X1C printers.
Since the last firmware update I can no longer properly print one of our parts that we have printed over and over again previously. I tried Orca slicer to see if it was the last Bambu Studio update, even used a STEP file to generate the G-code but the outcome is still the same … all of which points to the last firmware.

Now logging in through the mobile app I tried rolling back the firmware but there is no options listed to roll back to making the functions useless!

Is there any other way of rolling back firmware on the printer or through the slicer?

Currently the part we need is being printed on one of our old, tried and tested PRUSA MK3S …

I also do not see any firmware versions available for a rollback. Currently on firmware 01.06.05.01, Handy 2.0.0.

Firmware updates have caused a number of us to see unexpected behaviors and failures with previously-good prints. A reset has fixed many of them.

On the X1C screen, use the hex icon, General tab, Restore factory settings.

You will be led through the initial setup procedure again, calibrating the printer, connecting to wifi, etc… Any filament calibrations on stored on the printer by Studio will be erased (Part of the reason why I use Orca).

It’s worth a try on a least one of your machines

Thanks for the reply.
We are running the same versions as you and I should have posted that in the initial post.

I’m doing a factory reset on one of the machines but to be honest I don’t expect much from that as the firmware will still be the same. None the less worth a shot.

It confuses me that there is the menu option to downgrade but then no available versions to rollback to making it a pointless feature!

I’ll be much more wary in the future running any firmware upgrades on the printers. I have to say though that this is the first time it has had a detrimental effect on our capability to print consistently.

I’m having issues as well. The first update my machine would not calibrate or print, just get a Z axis error. I email tech support and asked if I could roll back the firmware because it worked fine just prior to the update. I was told to follow the steps they provided. It took almost three months and I never got an answer other than to repeat what I had done more than 10 time previously, printer logs and all. Then I seen the Handy app update allowed us to roll back the firmware. The first try after that it worked as it did before, no issues. Now the latest update I had to do because I couldn’t connect to my printer. Now I’m in the same place as before and I get the same message when trying to rollback the firmware. No content. I’m not impressed to say the least. :rage:

I have the same issue. The place where it should list previous versions shows no content…
