Has anyone tried drying their wet desiccant using the filament drying feature of the X1? If so how did it go?

Worked ok for me. But since it can’t print during that time,… It is a bit pricey for a filament dryer 
I thought as much, but I was curious. I’m trying to find a solution to not having the color chemicals invade my microwave or oven without purchasing anything.
Suitable dryers are not so expensive. You can find a wide range of recommendations in the forum.
As for microwave drying, that is not recommended for the filament as you have no control over the local temperature. From my own experience with an oven, you do want to avoid overheating of the filament during drying.
