Drying Filament with A1?

Hi!

There is an Instruction to dry Filament with the x1 Series.
Procedure and 3mf file for drying filament with the X1 Series printer heatbed | Bambu Lab Wiki

Will this work also with an A1?

What do i need to consider while trying this?

The X1 is closed, not the A1 : I’m quite sure this will not work…

In the instruction they are using a Box to cover the filament roll. So the filament gets warm, and Air can circulate. This should work with the A1 as well.

Get a cardboard box, like the one for Bambu filament box but fully enclosed (Sunlu and others have plastic on top of the cardboard), make some holes on top so the water vapors can escape, put the filament role inside the box and place the box on your heat bed. This trick was used on open printers way before Bambu existed.

a fan-forced oven is much more efficient
