Dust under stepper motor

Hey all, a friend and I both have our H2Ds from the second batch and noticed there’s some sort of rubber dust if you will under the stepper motor. It looks like it’s coming from the belt, was wondering if anyone else noticed this? It’s probably a matter of pushing the belt on the pulley a little bit to get away from the edges.

Please note along with the dust there is a strand of filament, ignore that.

Interesting issue. My friend and I are also experiencing the same issue. Definitely interested to see if others share the same issue.

I’m seeing the same issue.

It’s been discussed here: Normal wear? Black specks building in back left and right corners

Its not dust. Your belts are grinding themselves on their rollers. If you ask me and anyone I have consulted with basic-to-professional level experience in CoreXY printers (the type of printer the H2D is ) , this is not normal , and the belts should have only very slight deviations, and no way should they grind as this alters/meshes up the motion accuracy and puts extra strain on the motors.

But dont listen to me, im just a paranoid going around warning people about that according to some people in here, and I make it bigger fuss than it is.
We will see in couple of months…

Correct, I made this post way before yet no one responded lol

Yeah I remember you from the more popular post. TBH I don’t think your paranoid at all. It’s a valid thing to be worried about.

Thing is, Bambu already said ,contrary to what knowledge and experienced people say, that this is normal. Not much point in shouting solo, if you get me. Now I found another issue with the new fw, pretty much after power loss it tried to home right on the print. Check the new firmware thread, I posted a video there.

I see that now
