E3D High Flow Nozzle Settings

Wondering what adjustments folks are making when using the High Flow ObXidian HotEnd.

On my X1C with the 0.4 nozzle by default I increase the flow rate by ~50% (eg 20 becomes 30) and increase the speeds by about 33% (300 becomes 400). Then I do a couple of test prints, This seems to work reasonably well. I did a full speed / flow calibration with BBL PLA, BBL PETG, EleGoo PETG Rapid, and EleGoo PLA+ Rapid and all work well at 30mm^3/second.

I’ve yet to test the 0.6 which just arrived.

Now these are BBL approved it would be nice to see profiles in the slicer for them.

I do similar, I upped my pla flow rate to 30 and if I want a faster print, I just switch to ludicrous mode after the first few layers. For most prints I just run normal speed with the higher flow rate.

How are you finding the 0.6 nozzle? for me it seems like the quality really degrades unless I turn down the speed, which defeats the whole purpose

I’ve been too busy to test it so far.
