Easily switch filament to different spool

Hi,

I’m looking for an easy way to move filament from my PLA printed reusable spool to an official spool, so that I can use the Dry Filament feature.

I’d prefer not to have to unwind and rewind it all, more looking for some tips and tricks to keep the filament together when opening the spool and move it to the other one without messing it up. Is there an easy way? Or do I really have to print something like this?

Use a couple of zip ties.

How though? I’m afraid the filament will unravel the second I remove either half of the spool :sweat_smile:
