Eddy sensor question

hi,
So i am new to 3d printing for the most part, so i apologize if my question is stupid

So I had to replace my hotend assembly on my bambu A1. Long story short, i had a big blob of death, and when trying to clean it i damaged the little gate thing that holds the nozzle in.
So i did the replacement (found a very helpful video online) put it all back together.
Printed the boat, no issues. Then another stl, no issues.
So next i did another stl of my own creation, it printed half, no issues. Then the second half it was going through the motions of printing, but not doing anything.
I think its most likly my own stl, but the only thing i am not sure of is the eddy sensor. When i put it back together, im worried i mixed up the 2 wires, and that may be the issue.

But the first 2 worked fine, so not 100% sure

Thank you,

Drew

Drew, Welcome to the community. :grinning:
I would not think you have a problem with the eddy sensor as it is just a coil of wire so likely it could be attached either way and still work properly. I would try a few other prints besides the one you designed and rule out the eddy sensor.
