Hello I am new to the forum. Recently I had a major clumping using PETG this destroyed the nozzle and nozzle attachment plate with sensors also the EDDY sensor was damage. I ordered the two former but cannot find where to get the EDDY sensor as its not listed on the parts on Bambu store tried the live chat support bot but not helpful. So can anyone point me to where I can get one…many thanks
Welcome to the forum.
Are you able to provide a picture of what you are trying to replace?
First thing, let’s clarify of which printer are you talking about. Is it an A1, a P1 or an X1?
Second, are you referring to the eddy current sensor? The one located above the hotend that detects whether the nozzle has made contact with the heatbed or not? Or are you referring to the Y-axis eddy current sensor?
Third, do you get a HMS_0300-1900-0002-0002 error? If you do, then the sensitivity of Y-axis eddy current sensor is too low.
Forth. on Bambu webshop do a search on "sensor ". You’ll most likely get a result like this:
https://eu.store.bambulab.com/en-be/search?q=sensor+&type=product&sort_by=relevance. Seek what you need and if found, order it. If not found, it might be because it comes directly integrated on, or part of a board circuitry.
Hi that you for your reply ,sorry its an A1.The address given doesn’t seem to work. I am unable to switch machine on because I am waiting for hot end parts that were damaged. When I heated the nozzle to soften the filament to try and remove the solidified filament( this was a long job), I noticed that the EDDY current sensor was engulfed with PETG filament as well and I tried to remove with a hot air gun but the sensor came away and was destroyed
Hi thanks for reply because the sensor was engulfed with PETG the eddy patch sensor broke into fragments

You might want to check with support but it is my understanding that the eddy current sensor is included with the Extruder replacement as it is attached to the Extruder housing.

And you/he will still be better of with support for advice
Hi thank you so it looks like I have to get an extruder unit. I have been so confident leaving the printer overnight until this unattended mess this will cost me in total with hot end assembly, nozzle, and the extruder unit
$100/ £90 so I am weary of unattended prints especially PETG in the future
With the current sale, you might be better off just buying a A1 mini for parts. For $200 you get a full printer.
Never ever leave your printer working overnight unattended or unmonitored…the least worse case scenario will require you to buy replacement parts to replace those damaged… and the really worst case scenario…well, let’s just say that instead of looking for replacement parts you’ll be looking for a replacement home (if you’re still alive).
Very wise and pragmatic advice.
Yes I suppose your arguments against unattended prints can’t be argued but there must be many people who print large files overnight and many days . I have myself printed many times on different printers but I have a outdoor facility and had occasionally failed prints and clumping but be aware that on this Bambu A1 could cause expensive consequences, on my ender 3pro it was a matter of changing nozzle and sensor
I said unattended or unmonitored. With Bambu Studio or with the app one doesn’t necessarily have to be physically present next to the printer during the print. But monitoring regularly what’s going on with your print is good (and safe) practice … and also avoids the risk of having to buy replacement parts… or a replacement home (or shed, as the case might be).
I have an external camera and I do generally monitor the prints but on this occasion due to family duties didn’t check my phone so your message is a little over kill pardon the pun
