Electronic Certification for Canada

Does anyone know if the X1 Carbon 3D Printer is electronically certified for Canada? For example, (c)UL(us), CSA, c(ETL), c(TUV).

I am a teacher and would like to purchase this printer for our school’s STEM programming, but we need to know if it’s electronically certified for insurance purposes. Any and all help is appreciated.

The only information online I could find was on this thread: Reddit - Dive into anything

The thread above didn’t give a clear answer, so that’s why I’m asking here if anyone knows.

Thanks

The dataplate does not indicate a third party US/CAN UL or equivalent certification mark. They are marked with a CE mark and the CE declaration of conformity can be found online listing the safety standard that they self declare conforming to. The supplied mains power cord is listed and I would assume the power supply inside the unit would also be certified, but have not looked at it myself. Many other components would go into obtaining a third party certification (fuses, fuse holder, mains connected components, etc., control over hearing elements…).

Thanks for the reply. I was able to resolve my issue by submitting a ticket to their support team.

What did they say? I am going through the same thing right now…
