ELEGOO RAPID PETG print fail / Beginner

I’ve bought my first ELEGOO RAPID PETG product and have a BAMBU LAB P1S printer. I can’t get a smooth print surface, no matter what i try. But i’m sure , as i’m a beginner, that i’m setting things not correctly. In the bambulab studio, i cannot find a RAPID PETG ELEGOO setting profile. In Bambulab studio i find PETG , PETG-CG. When highlighting both i get following sub-choices : BAMBU PETG BASIC, BAMBU PETG HF, BAMBU PETG TRANSLUCENT, BAMBU PETG-CF, FIBERON PETG-rCF, FIBERON PETG-ESD, GENERIC PERG, GENERIC PETG HF, GENERIC PETG-CF, POLYLITE PETG. Question is, what do i need to set and chose to get a high quality vase, without any print errors? Need your help seriously. Again , i’m a beginner, and hate to loose to much material to print a fine model. Thanks a lot for all

your proffesional help !!! Wishing you all a fine christmas and a happy and peacefull new year.

As a beginner you have the opportunity to not waste time using the bambu slicer. Install orca slicer (it is much like bambu in operation) and use its built in calibration features. You shuld be able to tune in any filament you can lay hands on.

I have used the settinfs used by this link : Elegoo PETG Rapid Suggestions? - #6 by Olias

coming from Olias and must say that they work fine.
Thanks all for helping…

Kind regards,

Because it’s a fork of BS.
Before anyone chimes in BS is a fork of Prusa Slicer.
Again before anyone chimes in Prusa Slicer is a fork of Slic3r.

Slic3r was an open source project.
