Empty External Spool still shows filament

image
Anyone know how to remove a spool from Studio? I used a spool of TPU on the external spool holder for one quick print. It’s still showing on in Studio. How do I make it go away? Appreciate the help!

In the X1C, I select the external spool and select reset it:

Damn, I feel stupid. I’ve done that before but I rarely use the external spools on any of my Bambu printers. Thanks for that. I’ll never forget now!

OK, but how to do this on an A1 or A1 mini? The printer menu does not look like this. There is no reset option. Nor is there in Bambu Studio. Or maybe I am overlooking the obvious?

UPDATE: I see now that this cannot be done in the prepare screen, where the filaments are loaded in so they can be applied to the model. I found that this must be done on the device screen. Why this can’t be done on the actual printer is actually a bit frustrating.

This isn’t found on the screen of the printer, it is performed using Bambu Studio and the Device tab.

It works fine with all models of BL printers currently available.

Is it necessary to set the ext spool filament parameters on the screen you have shown if you’re not using an AMS? Or will the printer just use whatever you have set in the Prepare tab of Studio?

I think Jay there is an issue with the A1 and AMS with regards to this. I have 3 A1 2 are using AMS 1 isnt. One of the AMS one is still showing the external spool even after reboot and factory reset and ive reset the external spool from the A1 console. Ive also been getting wrong syncs of colours, the factory reset fixed this but one still shows that external spool. I checked with Orca and it does the same it re-syncs the wrong colours or misses a roll
