Encrypted G Code for security

One of challenges of running a commercial print farm is files security. BL printers copy the active print job (STL or Gcode) into its SD card and keeps it there after job is finished. This puts the files at risk of being stolen or copied. STL/Gcode files should be treated like source code.

Encrypted Gcode would be one approach. When generate a encrypted Gcode file from Bambu Studio, user must enter printer access ID. Once encrypted Gcode is generated, only printer with matching access ID can print the job. A password is required to edit encrypted Gcode file.

To take a step further, you can also set number of completed prints allowed. This lets creators to sell limited or unlimited prints of their designs to other Bambu owners without risking the designs been pass around as freebies.
