Entering measurements for your head to fit a helmet?

Hello everyone, I am new to 3D printing and also a newb to Bambu Labs software. How do i enter the measurements into the software to slice a helmet for my son ? Evetime i enter the mm numbers it looks weird on the plate.

I’m still confused on this too. Also, I’m having trouble figuring out how to cut the helmet into smaller pieces to be able to fit on the print bed. Any ideas?
