Hi all,
I’ve had repeat issues now where my AMS HT simply stopped feeding filament mid print. This has occurred across various machine-, print- and material profiles. The AMS HT sometimes even acknowledges that there is an issue as its red LED blinks, but neither that, nor the abnormal buffer movement or the air printing detect trigger an error and the print simply continues going! In PP prints it has even happened that the filament literally gets torn in 2 pieces mid bowden tube as a result of the tug of war between the halted AMS HT feeding motor and the H2D extruder motor! Even then, the toolhead registers that the filament is no longer present, but the print still does not abort and continues going!
I’ve also experienced an issue with the motor when the AMS HT attempts to unload a filament. In that case the spool attempts to wind up the filament, but the feed motor won’t budge and makes the spool jump around erratically inside the AMS.
Has anybody observed something similar? I have no issues at all with my AMS and AMS 2 Pro, only my AMS HT is throwing these tamper tantrums. Is it broken? I’m thankful for any and all input!
