Error HMS-0500-0500-0001-0007: what to do?

Today, when switching on my P1S on, it started to update to 01.08.02.00. So far, so good. But when trying to print out of Orca I got HMS-0500-0500-0001-0007. Recommendation is: update Orca. BUT: my Orca is up-to-date. That’s a good example of a deadlock.
And before you ask: yes, I reset the P21S to factory. To no avail.
Known issue?

[EDIT] After downgrading the device firmware to 01.08.01.00 it worked again.

My understanding is that this is due to the “MQTT command verification failed” added in 01.08.03.00beta/01.08.05.00. LAN Only Mode + Developer Mode works for my setup, but downgrading is probably a more flexible option for the time being.

Thx. That’s what I did. But still unsatisfactory. I’ll mark it a solution, though it is not really one.

Yeah Bambu’s been getting really into locking people out after years of exploiting the good will of the open source community.

It sucks but they seem determined.

I really thought, there’d be much more people using OrcaSlicer and Bambus, who are protesting this. This is breaking the philosophy Bambu stood for and why I bought it. WIll try to get rid of that printer ASAP.

Same issue here. I’ve activate LAN mode and developer option and it works now.
I think BambuLab must to create something to use OrcaSlicer or other slicers maybe developing a thirdParties API or whatever. I don’t like BambuStudio application I think OrcaSlicer is better.

The same story and it’s not funny. I downloaded the project from MakerWorld, print it from Handy Studio and got an error instead of printing. Pfff!

I’m having the same issue and you can imagine how happy I am (got my new P1S two days ago…)
Anyway, a more viable solution to me is from Orca, instead of using the “print” function, use the “send” function. That will save your file to the micro sd card on the printer, and you can print seamlessly from there.

This is probably the best compromise with least amount of steps unless you cannot access printer physically for some reason or if you really want to use the camera feature.
