Hi All
I am trying to print something which I created a while ago and have printed lots of times previously but not since last year.
Anyway, I have tried to print it today (for an order) and get an error. It is being printed in Bambu PETG Basic and uses Bambu PETG Support for the overhangs. However when I set the filaments today (which are being identified by the RFID tags)…

the printer shows an error;

Is this because of an update to Bambu Studio and why does Bambu Studio now warn that using PETG Sup with PETG could cause a problem??
Does anyone know how to fix this? I looked for where to “enable” this option, but cant find where to do it and am now concerned it may damage the printer
I would appreciate any help please?
Thanks
I had the same error, but I could not find out where to enable that in preferences. So, I would also be interested to know how this works!
I have managed to override the error to allow the print to run and its about half way through and looks good at the moment
To override it, enter preferences in Bambu Studio (ctrl + P in Windows) and then in the General Settings section there is a tick box - “Remove the restriction on mixed printing of high and low temperature filaments”…
This allows you to proceed
In Windows, click the down arrow next to File, or press Ctrl-P:
But Support for PA/PET temperatures are very different than Support for PLA/PETG:
Be sure your filament is the correct type and that you have entered the correct type in your filament list.

Hi @lkraus
You may have just (inadvertently) solved a massive problem I have had since owning the X1C. I have a model with a pretty big overhang and it used to print pretty well on my Creality Ender v3, but is very poor on the X1C. So I tried lots of adjustments and decided I would have to buy the ridiculously overpriced support filament to try and cure it. So, I bought support for ‘PLA/PETG’ from Bambu and have never had a clean print.
It is only now, as I have never had this error message before, following your post I have looked at the spool and it says support for PA/PET - so, it looks like I was sent the wrong spool - to make matters worse I ordered it on my original account with the company I worked for who have now gone bust, so I cant log in to my original account to get the details. I did contact Bambu Support months ago to try and get the email address changed on my original account and they said it cant be done and I need to create a new account… which I have done!
So, it looks like I will be paying £30+ for 0.5kg of Support for PLA/PETG AGAIN.
But thanks for highlighting this

Support material for PA/PET works well with PAHT-CF, but it’s important to remove it before it starts absorbing moisture from the air and bonding too strongly to the main material.
That said, as mentioned earlier, what you really want is support material for PLA/PETG.
Thanks @L0rdS474n
After I realised I had the wrong support filament, I tried tonight using PLA Basic as a support material and whilst still scruffy, it came away from the PETG a lot easier than the PA/PET support does from PETG. I think with a bit of tinkering I may be able to use PLA as a support for PETG and save some money.
Thanks
