Error when trying to save (upload) plate configurations

I am trying to follow these directions for customizing the 3MF plate settings:

When I hit upload, it takes me back to the Edit Model page and verifies the scad file as I would expect. However, when I hit Publish, I get the following error:

And, of course, if I refresh the page, I lose the changed file.

I am getting this same error on one of my high profile pages. I’m not able to release bug fixes that users are experiencing. @PineappleBun_BBL , how can we best get you the files to troubleshoot? My code that is generating the error is here: raw.githubusercontent.com/AndyLevesque/QuackWorks/refs/heads/main/Deskware/Deskware_Main.scad

I don’t think it is code specific. I tested with this and get the error.

That’s helpful troubleshooting. I attempted to re-upload the exact same code of mine that worked before (multiplate file) and am receiving the error message. This indicate something broke that worked before a release. I believe this only happened for me after the most recent release, though.

@PineappleBun_BBL - We may have narrowed down a multiplate error introduced in a recent MW Parametric Model Maker release. To recreate, attempt to create a new model page using the same .scad code as here: Deskware - A Modular Desk System - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld

I think they have fixed it! I had submitted a ticket and sent more info. They haven’t replied yet indicating they fixed it, but it seems to be working again.

Fixed on my end, too! Thanks for submitting that ticket!

Well, I may have spoken too soon. It is doing it again for me. :upside_down_face:

It seems to be working if I only change one value at a time. :man_shrugging:

I’m still having problems. On my model, I’ve uploaded two new scad files - DeskwareCurve which renders in PMM fine but fails validation and DeskwareBeta which validates but fails to show on the customize button after publishing. I don’t know if these issues are related to the original issue.

Deskware - A Modular Desk System - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld

Support indicated that plate 1 always needs to be occupied for validation to succeed. One of the files I uploaded uses plates 10-12. This is something I can work around, but a small feature request would be that validation uses the same logic as the PMM where it auto-determines which plate to use. Only a minor feature request. Not important.

Otherwise my issues appear to be resolved. Thank so much!

I wish there was a way to set the plate settings for ALL plates in one location. My model only uses plate 3 when certain options are selected. So I have to go in and select those options in order to configure the plate properly.

Hi, I’m also having this problem, just submitted a ticket MU260218728001 with the curl parameters that reproduces the issue.
