I am trying to follow these directions for customizing the 3MF plate settings:
When I hit upload, it takes me back to the Edit Model page and verifies the scad file as I would expect. However, when I hit Publish, I get the following error:
That’s helpful troubleshooting. I attempted to re-upload the exact same code of mine that worked before (multiplate file) and am receiving the error message. This indicate something broke that worked before a release. I believe this only happened for me after the most recent release, though.
I think they have fixed it! I had submitted a ticket and sent more info. They haven’t replied yet indicating they fixed it, but it seems to be working again.
I’m still having problems. On my model, I’ve uploaded two new scad files - DeskwareCurve which renders in PMM fine but fails validation and DeskwareBeta which validates but fails to show on the customize button after publishing. I don’t know if these issues are related to the original issue.
Support indicated that plate 1 always needs to be occupied for validation to succeed. One of the files I uploaded uses plates 10-12. This is something I can work around, but a small feature request would be that validation uses the same logic as the PMM where it auto-determines which plate to use. Only a minor feature request. Not important.
Otherwise my issues appear to be resolved. Thank so much!
I wish there was a way to set the plate settings for ALL plates in one location. My model only uses plate 3 when certain options are selected. So I have to go in and select those options in order to configure the plate properly.
