Errors skipping layers or need to recalibrate for cooling

Every time there is the simplest error in my print, such as the dreaded “filament failed to retract” (this time it was simply catching on the ptfe tube connector which had gotten loose over night) there are issues that result from that layer either making it weak or causing the rest of the print to float. This suggests either the temperature goes down and warps the print, which makes sense since the bed and the nozzle stop heating during an error, OR the gcode is skipping layers every time an error is thrown. Honestly, I think it’s the latter. Both of these issues can easily be fixed in an update, along with the problem of not being able to manually adjust.anything to save a print in the devices controls.

Please program the device to remember exactly where it left off AND use the lidar sensor to verify the exact shape and height of the print before continuing. Even offer to smoosh the next layer down a little lower for good measure. These random errors that stop the whole print are too finicky to not be recoverable in the simplest cases.
