Esun ABS Plus filament experiences, settings, general discussion.
Esun has released a downloadable Json package that can be added to the preset files of your Bambu studio, the issue is the settings are basically useless. Bed adhesion and the first few layers are great. but buy layer 25 or so layer adhesion quickly deteriorates to a spaghetti mess, this is even after an 8 to 12 hour stint in a filament dryer. If anyone has had any better luck with this product please share.
So far the settings within the provided profile are as follows
Nozzle temp 240-280 bed temp 90-110
Auto adjusted within the slicer to 260/90 respectively.
No matter what speed I print at, what temperature I adjust the nozzle to, the print will start out great. Door closed, chamber preheated, bed adhesion is great, first 20 or so layers have a great finish, then i check at the 23-25 layer mark and the layers are no longer adhering to each other, especially the infill, outer strait walls are deceptive, but even with 4 wall thickness, 60mms will crumble with a mild squeeze.
