I found on eSUN website where you can download filament profiles for the different Bambu printers (eSUN). When I attempted to import a couple of them, they do not show up in the list when you go to activate a filament brand/type. Anyone successfully imported filament profile for non-Bambu filaments?

Which filament(s) and printer(s) did you try?
Just did a quick test importing “H2D eSUN PETG Filament.json” and that does show up in my list of custom filaments (where I select “Project Filaments,” and with H2D printer selected). It also gets saved to my local user profiles folder.
It does not show up in the area where one can add/edit custom (and system) filaments, which is “expected” behavior (at least with these profiles and the way they’re imported… and not saying that’s a good thing, just how it currently works).
I also tried importing the corresponding “Process” profile, and although the dialog afterwards said 0 profiles were imported, it does show up in the process profiles list now. It did not save anything to my user profiles → process folder – the imported profile shows as unsaved as well (so it could be saved manually at that point).

I tried it on Bambu Lab A1.
File→ Import →Import Configs - Select for Example eSun Pla+
After that → Filament → Add/Remove Filaments → eSun selected.
Now, eSun is showed as “System presets” → eSun Pla+
If I import unsupported eSun Filaments, it is showed under Unsupported and it is not selectable. For example PETG-Matte.
- The configs you import are independent from anything selected in Add/Remove Filaments → System Preset (eg. you do not need to have “eSUN” selected).
- “eSUN PLA+” is already included with Studio as a default profile (the only eSUN filament). That’s why it shows up as “system.” If you then import a PLA+ config also, eg. “A1 eSUN PLA+ Filament.json”, it should be listed as “A1 eSUN PLA+”.
- If the imported filament is showing up as “unsupported” then there’s some reason Studio thinks that. Eg. the wrong printer or an unsupported nozzle type are selected. For example the “A1 eSUN PETG Matte” isn’t listed as being compatible with 0.2mm nozzle. If it’s not clear why a filament wouldn’t be compatible, give a specific example including what printer and nozzle you have selected in Studio.

Ok operator error… I successfully imported multiple filament profiles, but when I went to add the filament to my project, I didn’t look in the Custom section but the list with other Bambu filaments. All is good now, except for BBL not including the other major filaments (e.g., eSUN, SUNLU, etc.) in Studio 
Would it also be possible to select at the printer when I’ve put it into the AMS?
I will!! I’m sure this is just my own ignorance as a noob to the bambu world (but not new to 3d printing). I did the file-import-configs on the X2D PLA-CF and TPU-85A profiles. I’m running super generic, .4mm nozzle, .2 mm layer height. factory process settings on my X2D. During import I get this
