I notice there is a marble type fillament PLA from eSun.
Does anyone know if this is OK to use with the A1 AMS?
Are you asking if the esun cardboard spool fits on the AMS Lite? Not sure, I could try one here.
Or are you asking if marble filament works in the AMS Lite? Yes, they are compatible.
Thanks - I was talking about the filament - so great to know it is OK.
I hadn’t thought about the spool (I am still a newby) - so answer on that would also be appreciated.
I just pushed it about 3/4 on since I was juggling the AMS lite in one hand and the spool in the other, but it seems fine. Or at least “peak green” fits, but I’m assuming all of their cardboard spool are the same.
Thanks for investigating and the update
I have used it with my AMS Lite without issues. It’s actually in my AMS Lite right now. I do have a hardened steel nozzle, as that is recommended for other marble type filaments.
Thanks - I have a .6mm hardened steele nozzle - OK or do I need a different size?
I print it fine from the AMS with a 0.4mm nozzle.
0.6mm hardened nozzle works, as does 0.4mm hardened nozzle.
0.4mm regular nozzle works too, but might wear it out.
