hi, i’m facing a problem, some of my models have been removed from the exclusive program because (says the makerworld staff) they don’t have the requirements since they are key rings, badges or swatches for filaments. reading the rules it’s actually written and i didn’t know it. well i say, i’m sorry but this time i’m wrong and i have to accept it. But the story doesn’t end here.
since i suspect that they are targeting my account, i make some reports on similar models at random, if you search for key rings, filament swatches or fridge magnets you will find a lot. Obviously all or almost all my reports have been rejected. why? isn’t the law the same for everyone su makerworld?

They aren’t targeting you, you just can’t have simple models like keychains in the exclusive program.

as said I know (now), but you can just search “filament clip” or “filament swatch” and you see 30/40 models with exclusive program, many reported… unsuccessful
I want to clarify I am not jealous that others have their models in the exclusive program but I would prefer to be on a site that is level with the rules for everyone.

I think it’s because the rule update that specified that you can’t have simple models was only a few months ago so models that were entered before that are an exception to the rules.

don’t thnik. my models were dated dec 2023… and all models I see now are uploaded before that date… simply… rules are for someone…and not for others… the employer who judge is nor fair with all

I have nothing against those models or profiles… just i want to be at the same with them, or we remove all, or noone…
more I have account locked for upload other profile for 30 days… and ok I can accept, but they also lock me the possibility to change something avoiding other models to take down… this is unfair… system work not correctly… when an user is locked for upload he still must have rights to modify existing online models. or not?
I think this may depend on the moderator who is reviewing the reports at the time. I usually have “report successful” notifications but two days ago I had over 30 reports rejected (also about the Exclusive Model Program, and these models were very simple cookie cutters). You can try to report them again.

I have been silently waiting for makerworld’s response for over a month and I absolutely did not want to make the matter public but every day I am more and more convinced that someone has targeted me and some operator within makerworld is complacent, and believe me for much longer than yesterday when I wrote what I thought. now I have nothing left to lose, this morning they still removed 3 profiles from me unfairly, here are the photos of one. they say it is not my photo when even the designer says so. so I should not think that they have targeted me? what should I do, stay silent and passive, accept that they apply any rule invented for the sole purpose of removing points? should I do this?
no no stop, I didn’t know that writing a comment like that was forbidden. I will remove them immediately. I will do it immediately. I swear I didn’t know.
second: if they were targeting you and every morning they took 2-5 models and profiles from you I think you would be suspicious too, and I also found who did it.
third: the creator of that model is very happy with the photo, if you see he published it himself on the model and this morning we spoke and he told me that he is sorry and that he doesn’t understand why they removed it.

if you see these comments you are talking about they are very old, I have not done it anymore, even if it is not forbidden and I understand the reason for your observation, as said in this topic I promise to delete them because I understand. I also made a topic on the meaning of profiles, where I state that I would give all the points to the creators. the point is not this though. there are two points and while I already knew about the first one, that is, after having asked for the never requested redeem of a year of gift cards bambulab is trying to recover everything he can from my account, I discovered the second point today: and that a person who copied a model whose name I will not mention, instead of reporting it I kindly wrote to him to see about correcting or removing the model, this user has been spending his time reporting all my models more than once for 3 weeks and in the end, as you know, he finds the distracted reviewer or at this point I think complacent, who removes them, moreover there is also an alarm on the account for the requested gift cards… I am being asked to comply with absurd rules that have never been written, such as having the photo of the real model as the first photo of the profile… this is not fair.
This isn’t some absurd obscure rule. Makerworld has required an actual photo of the printed model for print profiles for awhile. I’ve even lost a few points when an old forgotten print profile was axed because it was missing that photo. I didn’t complain because it was my problem, my fault.
A lot of what I’ve seen here would really annoy me, and I’m a generally laid back and low key person. I don’t really think much about people uploading profiles and stuff, but if I found someone boost begging like that in my comments, I would not be too friendly.
You’re bringing a lot of negative attention to yourself and creating problems for yourself. You need to think a little bit about how your actions are being perceived. My ultimate advice is you need to back off, go low key, and just focus on your work, your page.
As far as exclusives go. A little advice/thoughts.
I had a look at your models, and the ones you offer up as exclusive. I would say in general, when deciding if you should make a model exclusive, you should consider how unique/interest/special it actually is. Like if the local department store was selling this, would they call this an exclusive?
Like your towel hook. It looks like a nice model, but I’m not sure it’d rise to the status of exclusive. And things like this, you’re setting yourself up for some potential headaches. Between the negative attention you’ve brought yourself, and having something like that, that is questionable as to the value of it’s exclusivity.
Your layered sculpture lips or the slingshot are better suited models for the exclusive program. I would avoid putting copyrighted works in the exclusive program, like your star wars stormtrooper art. I know people do this, but it’s something I’d avoid for legal reasons. That’s a ticking time bomb when you consider real doll hairs (dollars) start coming into play.
You have to self police a bit with the exclusive program. It’s not the wild west out there. There’s not just the rules posted at the door, but it’s a free for all once inside. The eye of Bambu is watching, and if it falls on you while you’re being shady, then you’re gonna get bit. And since points need approval, eventually that eye will fall upon you.
I say all of this because if you want to make sure your models are solid, and wont get dinged, or points taken away. We can’t always predict how a given moderator will react, or where a Bambu employee might find fault on review. I think the best we can do is be proactive in making sure we run a tight ship.

No offense, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were targeting you because Snoopy isn’t your Intellectual Property.

And just because others do something, doesn’t mean you should to. Gah, I sound like a parent or something, but this is very true. Following suit with others can sometimes get you short-term gains, but more often I’ve found it’ll get you a face full of floor when you fall flat while everyone else scatters.

Exclusive Model Program
About that Snoopy lamp, I believe you can appeal the decicion if there was a real photo made by you. The problem might be the author of the model added it to the main gallery, someone saw the same photo on your profile, reported it and the moderator made a wrong assumption it’s his photo (it’s signed, I know, but sometimes moderators are overwhelmed with work).

Maybe I was not clear. in my case photos are always present on profiles. Always. sometimes not as first photo but present, and not missing.
I am very sorry that my intervention bothered you and I assure you that it is not my intention to bother anyone, if you read above before deciding to write I have endured over a month.
A month in which EVERY day I find models and profiles removed, thanks as I discovered today to a person who wastes his time reporting me, if you want to know I have also been blackmailed by saying that if I do not remove an IP report against him, which I have not even done, he will not stop reporting me.

for sure and as you say, but the operators are rejecting all my appeals, and as for the snoopy model I have at least 15 other identical cases with which I am losing many points and profiles. the operators will be overwhelmed but having someone who continues to massacre me every morning is not a good life
