Hello, I would like to place the display of the a1 mini outside the case. Is there a way to extend the cable?

There is no way to do it unless you make a custom cable since it is a ribbon cable. You might be able to put 2 of those cables together, but I don’t know. I also don’t know how much slack there is on the inside, you might be able to use that to move it a little farther away.
It should be easy to extend the cable and it should be ok, but be aware that depending on the kinds of signals used on the cable there probably is a practical limit and there is a possibility it won’t work if you cross it.
Higher speed signals don’t travel well and adjacent conductors can cause ghost signals. These issues are made worse the longer the cable.
As long as the extension doesn’t cross or short wires you are probably good but there also could be issues. I think you will probably be ok though but can’t guarantee it. I’d be surprised if you can hurt it by trying though - as long as you don’t somehow cross wires or short one or more to others, etc. Can’t guarantee squat, though.
