Expanding the Bambulab store

Some filaments, such as TPU, display the note: * Dry out before use.
Now I wonder why a giant like Bambulab doesn’t have a filament dryer.
I know there are some systems to absorb moisture but I would like something official …
If I have vouchers to spend on the bambulab store, why should I spend money to buy a competitor’s one? Thank you hoping to be able to buy one soon on the official Bambulab store.

Technically they do, some of the enclosed printers offer the ability to heat the chamber to dry out filament.

A standalone unit would be a much better and universal solution.

exactly but I have an A1 bamboo

Which is why I said ‘universal’ solution.

I have the A1 mini & A1, neither, as you noted have the chamber heating option.

I have an eSun filament dryer from back in 2020, very poor UI with a tiny screen and two buttons. Operating it isn’t as easy as it should be.

It would be great to have Bambu one that could possibly hook up to the Bambu network so it can be monitored and even scheduled so filaments are ready and your informed so you can set a job up.

For those with the AMS (not AMS lite), a heated chamber in that makes a lot of sense as it could heat whilst in operation.

exactly I think it’s in the possibility of bambulab creating a good product

If we’re adding new products to the store, I would like to see filament recyclers given the Bambu treatment and turn a $1000 kit into a $500 appliance that anyone can use. The advent of the AMS has brought with it an increased amount of filament waste. It would be awesome if we could easily recycle it for reuse.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing the other day.
Maybe there next AMS will include a dryer feature. That would be awesome.

But yeah. They have zero products for spool humidity management.

First, I would like they use reusable bags for their spools.
Second, I’d like they develop quality vacuum bags for storing spools.
And third, a smart dryer  :raised_hands:

I’m extremely curious too… waiting on the filament dryer from BL, hope its a game changer. Can you guys recommend some decent ones on the market right now?
