Export an .stl WITHOUT the negative space

Greetings

I have an stl that I have been asked to remove some borders. I put negative space along the edge to get rid of the edge bead. I’d like to export this as a new .stl file as it is after slicing. When I try and export the file Studio complains about negative space. Is there an easy way to export a file that has negative space added as a new, modified .stl. I hope I’m wording that correctly! Thanks in advance.

Apply “boolean mesh” from the context menu of the object before exporting.

Thanks. That did pop up when I tried to export but it creates an .stl with 0 bytes if I remember correctly. I will try that again. What exactly does that do? Does that incorporate the negative space into the original stl?

Yes. Add “simplify” if there’s problems. But neither does guarantee it works.
