Export Current Plate as a Clean 3MF

I’d really like a feature in Bambu Studio to export only the current plate as a new 3MF project.

Right now, a project can contain multiple plates, unused objects, hidden parts, test versions, and other setup data. That is useful while working, but sometimes I only want to save or share the finished active plate by itself.

What I’d like is basically a “Save Plate As 3MF” option that exports only what is on the selected plate, including:

  • part layout and placement

  • orientation

  • paint/color information

  • plate-specific setup tied to that finished plate

And excludes things like:

  • other plates

  • unused or hidden objects

  • extra test parts

  • old duplicates

  • other project clutter not on the active plate

This would be much better than exporting the whole project when the goal is just to reuse, archive, or share one finalized plate.

A few reasons this would help:

  • easier to send someone a clean file

  • easier to archive completed versions

  • easier to move a finished plate into a new project

  • no need to manually delete everything else first

I think this would be one of the most useful workflow improvements in Bambu Studio, especially for people doing multicolor work, painted models, or product batches.
