Hi, when I try to export 3mf file to post on Makerworld I can’t export it with print and filament settiing. When I open exported file it always shows generic bambu setting and their filament setting. I always change them since their do not print as I would like.
Makerworld only allows upload of 3mf project file that has ONLY default BBL print profile eventhough 3mf files are capable of storing complete printer profile, print settings, filament profiles, and also sliced gcode…
That is for BambuHandy to work as bambu handy doesn’t have a slicer, it just sends gcode that has already sliced by designer or print profile uploader to your printer. It’s just a dumb system to promote the use of BambuHandy and make it really annoying for BambuStudio users.
BBL thinks it is best for you and you have no say in this. Deal with it.
Don’t use the “export” function. Just click “File” and then “Save Project As”. If you do it that way it will save all your settings in the .3MF.
